Core Keeper is a sandbox adventure game set in a massive underground world filled with creatures, secrets, and valuable resources. You wake up in a mysterious cavern near an ancient core and must survive by mining, building, and exploring the depths. The environment is fully destructible, and progress depends on how well you manage what you gather—whether it’s food, materials for crafting, or rare ores used to unlock upgrades and tools.

Customization Through Farming, Crafting, and Combat

The game allows for multiple playstyles. You can focus on farming crops to sustain yourself, craft gear to explore deeper biomes, or fight bosses hidden in the dark. Each biome introduces new materials and threats, pushing you to adapt your base, improve your weapons, and experiment with new combinations. You can play solo or in multiplayer, where teamwork becomes essential for expanding efficiently or defeating tougher enemies. As your base grows, you gain access to automation and upgrades that support longer expeditions.

Uncovering the Purpose of the Core

At the center of the map is the ancient core, a mysterious structure that slowly becomes more important as you defeat bosses and activate its functions. As you feed power into the core, more of the map opens, revealing harder zones and larger systems to manage. Exploration rewards loot, and pieces of lore that hint at what the underground world really is. Core Keeper blends survival, exploration, and light story elements into a focused, replayable experience shaped by how deep you’re willing to dig.
